SBHI Ireland

We built the SBHI app in Q3 of 2020. The app is tailored towards adults living with spina bifida and/or hydrocephalus (SB/H), and parents/carers of children living with SB/H. Patients.

Product Summary

The app allows its users to record both current and historical medical information along with emergency contacts for quick communication. We added a centralised calendar facility, complete with text notifications which remind the user of upcoming appointments.

Product Summary

A medication Tracker was also included which allows the user to document their daily medications and receive daily text notification reminders. This system allows for the transfer of all relevant information to any medical professional.

Technical Description

Due to a large database of regularly updating Q & A we opted to include an admin panel that could add and remove content from the information directory section of the app. This admin section also houses a small section that allows SBHI to send a push notification to its entire user base.

For feedback on the uptake of the app, we included firebase analytics that allows us to pull reports from the app on usage.
