Table Quiz App

TableQuiz.app is a web-based platform I designed and planned out during the first lockdown for Covid 19.

Product Summary

TableQuiz.app is a web-based quizzing tool built for the education sector. 

Quizzes can be setup and ran free of charge.

Entrants can enter quizzes that are hosted live using a simple weblink with no installations necessary.

Questions are issued by the quizmaster through a dashboard. Results and answers from quiz participants are sent back to this dashboard for grading.

Platforms

I had planned for this to be developed using React and an API however after reaching out to contractors the development of this through PHP came in at a far lower cost.

Revenue Model

This application can be used free of charge however there are a variety of upsells that a user can purchase.

Each of these upsells are managed through a specialised admin panel, through which the platform is managed. (without engineering intervention).

These upsells include:

Different prices for different numbers of participants.
Suggested questions to ease the process of creating quizzes.
Using Customised background for quiz rounds.

Interesting Notes

I designed the full platform (Including admin) using Adobe XD. I then found a theme I liked on Envato and hired an engineer to write all HTML & CSS for the project.

I then found a cartoonist I liked based in Brazil who I hired to create fun characters to use as mascots for the platform
