Event Websites

Product Summary

I have worked as part of a team that has built event websites for over 50 top brands. These companies include Google, LinkedIn, Amazon, Diageo, Coca Cola, Avolon, Aer Lingus and Carlsberg. These event sites are a mix of WordPress websites and custom builds depending on the requirements. 

Users can RSVP via the website and (more recently due to COVID-19) attend the event via the website.

Technical Description

Our team built event sites in a number of different ways depending on the requirements given. Some events required a CMS so we have either used WordPress or else built web apps using React or Laravel. When no CMS was required, we would create the site using plain HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP. Occasionally, a mobile app was required for events. To create these we have used React Native, or based on the client’s preference, Swift or Java.
