Technical Description

Avolon’s global reach and size presented unique/complex challenges. Our architected solution had to consider security of the highest level (routinely penetration tested by Avolon’s internal security team) and it had to be highly performant across the globe.

Interesting Notes

As Avolon is a publicly traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), our team had to architect a solution that incorporated Load Balancing/Auto Scaling and key optimisations to ensure spikes in traffic did not disturb the availability of critical Financial Reports and Updates for all interested parties and investors.

Avolon also conducted a fundraising campaign for PPE for Covid relief in which CEO Domhnal Slattery appeared on several public forums causing large spikes in traffic which tested the architected solution as Avolon raised over €300,000 in three days.
